Our people

The team at Drysdale Funerals Nambour are with you every step of the way, keeping you informed and guiding you through the arrangements as much or as little as you need.

Meet Julia Knock, location manager at Drysdale Funerals in Nambour.

What do you enjoy about your job?
The variety! It sounds like a cliché, but every family is different. I like to focus on making each funeral as unique and authentic to the person as possible.

We really listen to families and are eager to deliver on their needs. I also love the fact that I live and work in the same town. This is my community, and I am privileged to serve our local families.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?
Renovating my old Queenslander in Coes Creek, bush and beach walking with my children, enjoying a glass of wine on my back deck while watching a storm roll in.

Are there any special community groups you work with or support?
Red Cross, CWA, Legacy and “The Shack”

"I cannot thank Drysdale Funerals in Nambour enough for the incredible care and service you provided. From the initial meeting I was treated with kindness, empathy and respect. When my mother sadly passed away five years later, the team were on hand and very quick to respond despite the very late hour of her passing. I never felt rushed, and they were so kind and calming.

I am absolutely indebted to Drysdale for the quiet professionalism and courtesy everyone extended to me throughout the process. Christine even drove me to the florist as I was too distressed to drive. She even remembered me from our meeting and was on hand to help me every step of the way. I was given some excellent options for some beautiful caskets, and my decisions were treated with quiet courtesy and encouragement. I know that I made the right decision to entrust them with the care of my mother, and I would not hesitate recommend them to anyone who will need their care and support."

Thank you again,
Hazel S. Jourdin
